Corrosion prevention
High-quality electronic products contain copper and silver components. These components are becoming finer and finer and more and more sensitive due to technical developments.
Industrial companies have switching and control rooms where switch boxes, computer equipment and other sensitive equipment have been set up. Harmful gases are released in many industries during the production process that may negatively affect the copper and silver components of the equipment. The result is corrosion of the circuit boards. This corrosion causes ghost malfunctions, incorrect measurements and, in the worst possible scenario, even outage. Processes may also come to a standstill as well as circuit boards suffering (economic) damage. The financial damage can, in these cases, be huge. Compressors in many industries are also negatively affected by corrosion that lead to imbalance, performance loss and additional maintenance.
