Activated carbon filters

Activated carbon is a medium that works based on the absorption technique. Activated carbon has an open structure and a relatively large surface to which gases adhere to it. It is, therefore, a very suitable medium for gases that do not allow themselves to be oxidised such as hydrocarbons, solvents and organic gases. Allsorb supplies activated carbon filters loose in bags of 25 kg, in big bags of one m3. You can, of course, also have the activated carbon supplied factory prefilled in the form of filter cartridges, filtering plates or modules.

Allosorb has the facilities to empty drain and refill your activated carbon cartridges. The re-use of your current activated carbon cartridges will ensure you can make considerable savings. The old activated carbon will be disposed of in an environmentally responsible way. You can also use our filter cartridge exchange system where we fill the cartridges in stock for you and send them to the relevant location. We will then take back the old used cartridges. This means that your system can again be operational after a short stop. Activated carbon filters are used for different applications such as kitchen-, welding fume- and solvent- extraction.
