Electrostatic filters

We currently set high standards when it comes to our indoor environments. Microscopic particles such as smoke particles, moulds, pollen, house dust mites and fine dust may be unpleasant to people and animals and harmful to our items of cultural heritage. The electrostatic filter captures the abovementioned particles very effectively and, thus, protects both people and our items of cultural heritage.

ALLSORB electrostatic filters are built using a metal external frame with in-between two high-voltage shields with fibreglass filter mats on both sides. An electronic part can be found on top of the filter that builds up a direct voltage of 5.0000 volts that is transferred to the high-voltage shield. The fibre mats are in fact enclosed and charged in a polarised electrostatic field. The electronics is cast into silicone, which equates to a reliable fault-free system. The filter classes vary from F5 to F8 and can be supplied in practically every required size.

  • Can be supplied with activated carbon filter panels
  • Low maintenance costs
  • Easy maintenance
  • Fault-free and practically maintenance free because the electronics have been cast

Goal

  • To remove micro-organisms and dust

Application

  • Filtering of air at archives and museums (mould prevention)
  • Filtering of air in households, in particular, with heat recovery systems
