High-Quality Filter Products for Industrial Applications
The Alphasorb15 filter medium is suitable for neutralising corrosive, hazardous gases such as H2S, SO2, thiols, and chlorine. The chemical filter medium has a porous structure impregnated with various compounds including potassium hydroxide (KOH). Potassium hydroxide is a very strong oxidizing agent and extremely effective in capturing acidic gases. The medium is used in places where high demands are placed on air quality, for example to protect the atmosphere from unpleasant odours, but also to protect high-value equipment against corrosion.
Specialized Filter Granules for Gas Protection
The manufacturer of the filter granules (Freudenberg GmbH) supplies very high-quality, optimally impregnated filter granules which, due to a special production process, are porous enough to allow gases to penetrate into the core. The medium captures a wide range of hazardous gases, with a very high efficiency >99.9%.
