Gas Filter Impregnation Level Measurement

The active ingredients - the impregnation level - of the gas filters can be measured. To determine the lifespan of the filter, we advise taking a sample about 3 to 6 months after the filters are installed, which we then test in the laboratory for remaining active ingredients. We inform the laboratory of the type of medium sampled, the date the medium was installed, and the date the sample was taken.

Predicting Filter Lifespan

The laboratory then measures the remaining active ingredients. To predict the number of days the medium still contains active ingredients, the percentage of impregnation used is converted to the number of days the medium has been in operation. This allows us to estimate when the medium needs to be replaced.
